Wow!!! What a fantastic 2nd Market

The weathermmen were talking up the day to be the worst of the century, I was imagining thunder, lightning, rain and hail but thankfully they were wrong and the rain held off till late afternoon and we even got glimpses of blue skies a few times.

Once again you all turned up on mass. We had an overwhelming 2000 people through the door by noon, not including children. For a while there it was hard to move and there was a definate buzz in the air. There was so much excitement amongst everyone towards the amazingly talented stall holders and what they had on offer. I could have bought something from every stall there was so many beautiful things. You can take a look at the photos here.

By the end of the day we had 3000 shoppers through, once again not including children so a very big succesful day.

We raffled a fantastic hamper of goodies donated by the stall holders, I rang the winner, Irene at 3pm who was of course over the moon and came straight back to collect her bootie. I am sure she will be very popular amongst her family and friends.

I am a one woman show with Piccadilly so I have to give an enormous THANK YOU which does not seem enough to my most amazing friends Pamela(Photographer Extraordinaire), Vicki(Marketing Guru) and Peggy (the gift of the gab and lug girl) and my awesome parents Krystyna and Ian who all help me out on the day out of the goodness of their huge hearts. Thank you also to Shane and my 6 year old son for helping me set up and break down. You all rock!!!!!

I have to give a mention to Jodie at the Flower Bowl who filled my birdcages for me and they looked just stunning.

Now its time to start working on the November 28th Christmas Market.

  2. I wanted to pass on my thanks to you for a great market last Sunday. I had a fantastic day and it was great to see so many people in Geelong out supporting "handmade". You obviously did a great deal of work marketing the event!! Thank you for all your efforts in the lead up to the day...it was a very easy process from a stall holders point of view!!
